GRIIDC is excited to welcome Natalie Davis to the team! Natalie has been working at the Harte Research Institute (HRI) as a Program Coordinator IV in the Marine Resources Development program since fall of 2018 focusing her efforts on the oyster aquaculture program. She joined the GRIIDC data curation team in early July 2020 in order to help with the data package review process. She will be primarily working on metadata reviews and as a Subject Matter Expert.
Natalie brings her experience working in the marine science and coastal management field, as well as her extensive background in environmental permitting and regulations to the data curation team. GRIIDC manages data from multidisciplinary research groups and receives diverse data types. The GRIIDC data curation team reviews every dataset submitted to GRIIDC and makes sure the descriptive information accurately reflects the contents of the dataset and that it is ready for the public. Natalie is a great addition to the team and we are excited to have her on board!
