The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) President’s Circle visited the Harte Research Institute (HRI) on October 23, 2025, to learn about the exciting programs HRI has to offer! The President’s Circle consists of members who support the missions and initiatives of TAMU-CC and President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Kelly M. Miller. Participants get access to exclusive events at the university to learn more about TAMU-CC programs.

The event was hosted by HRI and showcased research groups such as the Center for Sportfish Science and Conservation, International Programs, Conservation and Biodiversity, and GRIIDC! Participants were able to interact with the informative booths and also took tours of the new Coral and Reef and Ocean Health lab.

GRIIDC presented the website’s innovative features and discussed the importance of preserving data for the future. The event was a big success and demonstrated HRI’s mission of interdisciplinary approaches that create science-driven solutions.
